EARLY PALEOLITHIC LOCATION AINIKAB 6 IN CENTRAL DAGESTAN

The article analyzes archaeological materials from the Ainikab 6 Early Paleolithic site in Central Dagestan. Location is located on southeastern outskirts of village. Ainikabmakhi remnant 145-meter terrace Usisha River. considered stone inventory comes pebble-gravel deposits terrace. According to geological and geomorphological data, age finds coming alluvium estimated within framework Baku horizon Caspian regional stratigraphic scheme (800-500 thousand years ago). collection includes single single-platform cores, large small tools made flakes fragments flint raw materials, debitage. tool set represented by various types choppers, a flat pick, scrapers, knives, scrapers. also contains archaic axes cross-bladed biface. presence indicates that monument belonged Acheulean industry.
